E911 Dispatch Center and Police Facility Are Among New Projects

WSKF Architects continues to expand its long-standing expertise in planning and design of public safety facilities.

Following a recommendation by the Page County Iowa E911 Committee, the Page County Board of Supervisors selected WSKF to design the county’s new E911 dispatch center.

The center will consolidate the county's dispatch functions in to a single facility that will dispatch law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies serving the county's 15,700 residents. WSKF is assessing sites for the new center and developing the preliminary design.

WSKF was also selected as design architect to work with Phillip Smith Architect on an assessment and design to renovate and expand the Jackson, Mo., police facility. WSKF and Phillip Smith will complete an assessment, preliminary design and cost estimate so Jackson officials can decide on how to proceed with the project.

Among WSKF's other current public safety projects are:

  • Overland Park Kan. Public Safety Facility
  • Nevada Mo. Police and Fire Facilities
  • Maryville Mo. Police and Fire Facilities
  • Callaway County (Mo.) Ambulance District facility assessment and design
