Developing Potential, Inc.

Developing Potential, Inc. (DPI) is a nationally accredited, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality services and support to adults with developmental disabilities so they might lead the most self-directed and fulfilling life possible. 

WSKF began working with DPI in 2016 on the initial estimating for fundraising of the new facility. Completed in 2023, the final facility includes eight classrooms, art and music rooms, a multi-purpose room, offices, conference room, laundry, and specialty therapy rooms. 

Integrated into the design was the inclusion of a coffee shop and kitchen that will assist in DPI’s mission to teach quality life skills so disabled individuals can reach their potential and achieve a dignified, adult lifestyle for job training to gain independence. 

Prior to this new facility, WSKF Architects renovated the teaching kitchens at DPI’s Independence and Kansas City, Missouri locations.
