FirstLight Methodist Church 

The Master Plan for this faith community was developed beginning in 2011 using a charrette process. Phase one of the design is for a multipurpose facility that will serve as the community’s worship space, fellowship hall and recreation space. Future phases include larger worship facilities, additional classrooms and expanded offices. The church is being designed to accommodate 325 members. The site, along the main thoroughfare in Gardner, affords prominent visibility for the church and easy access. The design orients the front of the buildings toward the main street with covered patios and future plaza facing south and east. The roofs of the design allow for clerestory windows in the multipurpose space. The design includes a commercial kitchen, nursery, classrooms, offices and gathering space. The building includes second story classrooms with balcony space overlooking the multipurpose room for future expansion.
