Current Positions

Senior Project Architect / Project Manager

WSKF Architects is a firm with a 50+ year history. We are designers, thinkers, planners, problem solvers, innovators, and advocates for our clients. We are a nearly 20-person architecture and design practice with offices in North Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS. Opportunity:

WSKF Architects is looking for creative, motivated, energetic individuals to join our highly collaborative and growing firm who will participate in all phases of project development, from programming and conceptual design to construction documents and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Senior Project Architect / Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in the field and at least 4 years of experience in this specific job role
  • A licensed professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university
  • Experience leading a project team and client presentations
  • Proven capability and proficiency in Revit from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration – Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, etc. is advantageous
  • Successfully managed projects – client budgets and schedules
  • Experience in coordinating with consultants/engineers and engaging with owners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with regular contact with the project principal
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative office setting
  • Possesses a mentoring mindset with regard to supporting colleagues on technical design
  • Experience in public safety, municipal, academic, senior care/living, auto dealerships/fleet maintenance markets is desired but not required
